National Bass Fishing Trail Mississippi Division
The National Bass Fishing Trail “NBT” offers weekend anglers a way to compete with top anglers locally at an affordable entry. The NBT is a trail for adults and young anglers alike. The format is a one day tournament and you can fish from a boat or from the bank allowing everyone to enjoy competing in bass fishing and have a lot of fun. Non-boaters can fish with family members or through a draw system. Not everyone can get off to make a pre-tournament registration meeting so there are none. There is also no late fees or pre-registration. All tournament meetings and draw will be done the morning of the tournament at the boat ramp.
Total payout for NBT tournaments is 90% of all money paid in. The payout to tournament winners is 80% and the other 10% goes toward the payout at the annual championship. Members can fish in any NBT tournament in the country and their points will count in their home district. -National standings will be determined by top 4 qualifier finishes as well as one District Championship result.
